All documentation can be submitted by mail, e-mail, or fax. The Nova Scotia Board of Registration will confirm receipt of your inquiry and provide follow up correspondence within 1 - 3 business days. 

Those wishing to transfer their license from another jurisdiction need to successfully complete the Nova Scotia Mortuary Law Examination. The Acts and Regulations, which make up the Mortury Law Examination and the law portion of the Funeral Director Exam. These Acts and Regulations include:
